Why Good People Need More Spiritual Protection Than Others

It can be disheartening to see kind, selfless, and honest individuals —often true Christians striving to live by their faith—become targets of attack, criticism, or ill-treatment from those who exhibit less desirable traits. From a spiritual and Christian viewpoint, this opposition is frequently viewed not as a sign of personal failure, but as a confirmation of spiritual struggle. The Conflict of Light and Darkness The core biblical explanation for this phenomenon is the ongoing spiritual warfare between light and darkness. Target of the Enemy: The Bible suggests that the enemy (often referred to as Satan or the devil) seeks to oppose anything that represents God's goodness, love, and truth. When a person dedicates their life to selfless service, integrity, and faith , they become a shining light in the world.
